The app is very useful and well thought through. However, it is difficult to re-set the flashcards once you have completed a deck. The "reset button" never works - I often have to re-set the entire app or re-install it completely.

I didnt think Id be able to study for the GRE while travelling abroad, but this app Ande all the difference. Learned 150 new words in no time. Only thing I would add is a feature that allows the word to be read to you (to master pronunciation as well)

Very helpful GRE vocas!

Ive been able to learn new words more quickly and efficiently with this app than any other GRE prep material I have used. It was frustrating at first because, despite seeing words repeated over and over, I could not remember their meanings. However, as time goes on the words start to stick, and by the end of it you will be surprised at how many words you can immediately recall the definitions of!

Absolute necessity for GRE takers. Love it.

These flash cards are very helpful. They allow me to study anywhere and anytime!

Very effective in helping to learn the vocabulary words for the verbal section of the GRE! When I first did verbal practice questions, my biggest issue was not knowing many of the words. After using this app, I feel confident that my scores will be much better.

This is a brilliant app to say the least. Its very convenient and thus really allows you to make the most use of any downtime. Its unique way of helping one master the words is also very strategic. The pool of words is very appropriate and relevant to the exam as I have encountered almost all those studied. I definitely recommend this app to all GRE candidates. One minor addition I think would be quite helpful is if we had an option to hear the words correct pronunciation . This would encourage many to incorporate the words in day-to-day conversing!

Ive been using Magooshs online program to study for the gre. This is app is a great and efficient complement to the program for when you want to learn some vocab on the go. The system also lets you sync your progress online with your progress on the app.

I find the content quite reliable because most words listed in the app frequently pop up on the actual GRE. Mastering them is indeed essential to achieve a competitive score on the verbal section. What I like most about this app is the well-thought example sentences which demonstrate how the words are used in actual contexts. Ill keep using this app!! :)

nice app for vocabulary preparation

This is a great app! I take the train everyday to get to work and review the vocabulary words on the train. I recommend studying the vocab words from "Magooshs Complete Guide to GRE Vocabulary" first, as it gives you hints on how to memorize these difficult words (ex: extant = think existant). Once you have a better understanding of the words, you should review them using the app!

This app is helping me very much for my upcoming GRE test. Thank you, Magoosh team! Few improvement points: 1. There are few noun-s which are tagged in the app as adjective. 2. I think adding pronuonce feature makes the app even more great:)

Great contents but you won’t be able to log in if you don’t have a subscription. Also, contents are not exportable

Though this flashcard app is made up based on the materials on Magoosh site, it stands alone and greatly helps those who are anxious or feeling uncomfortable at taking GRE verbal questions. Im a non-native test taker so that this is much critical for me. Even the first 200 to 300 Common Words apparently improved my average rate in 2 months since I had started a prep for the exam. It provides all together for vocab building--meaning, synonyms, used examples. I occasionally wondered what the "meaning" means, as was often a problem for non-natives. But this is an iPhone app. It can be instantly checked by a built-in dictionary. A certain short-coming is that it doesnt provide the whole list of words shown in the app. If the app would provide that, the review would be easier, and it should become more efficacious. With this point, I give 4 stars.
